Exercise therapyThe therapeutic exercise involves exercises and movements that are prescribed to treat impairments, restore muscular and skeletal function, and/or maintain well-being. An exercise program includes aerobic exercises, resistance exercises, strengthening and stretching exercises. Therapeutic exercises are designed to treat or prevent injuries and enhance functional outcomes.

Joint Mobilization_ManipulationJoint mobilization is a skilled manual therapy technique aimed at improving the joint range of motion and reducing pain. Joint mobilization can help with activities like lifting your arm, bending your spine, or walking by increasing the range of motion, reducing pain, and improving the mechanics of a joint. Joint mobilization is very effective for a variety of pain and stiffness conditions, including spine pain and stiffness, stiff ankles, frozen shoulder, tendonitis, and many others.

Soft Tissue MassageMassage therapy is a technique used by physiotherapists that aid in releasing tension that has built up in certain muscles as a result of an injury or stress. You can speed up the healing process by getting the blood flowing with massage therapy. Some other aims of doing soft tissue massage include warming superficial tissues, relaxing muscles, stretching soft tissues and increasing blood and lymph flow in aiding waste product removal.

Sports massage is a form of massage therapy that focuses on soft tissue issues, which basically means “muscle problems”. The purpose of a sports massage is to ease any tension and improve mobility. The main goal of the treatment is to help correct issues and imbalances that have developed in the soft tissues as a result of trauma and repetitive, demanding physical activity. Sports massage helps muscles to become stronger and helps release muscle tension to promote tissue repair and muscle balance for a safer next workout.

ElectrotherapyElectrotherapy is one of the treatment methods used to manage pain, restore range of motion, and treat conditions of the musculoskeletal system. Physiotherapists can use electrotherapy to treat injuries, speed up healing, prevent muscle wasting and alleviate pain by utilizing specialized devices that are made to deliver individualized levels of electrical stimulation to your body’s nerves, muscles, or tendons. Some types of electrotherapy include Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Ultrasound Therapy, Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) and Shockwave Therapy.
